Has anyone fitted the rebel Tubular winch bumper? If so how did they rate it? Been looking at this one compared to the Terrafirma one, Terrafirma requires a bit of cutting whereas the Rebel one doesn't.

The spec for the Terrafima bumper says that the lower section and plastic grill needs to be cut in order for the winch to be attached, just not sure how much cutting is required.

I bet you would have to cut the grill and the lower alloy panel to fit most electric winches into most winch bumpers.
So terrafirma telling you the whole story and the others not possibly!

Ok do a search as from my limited time on here Im sure/know it's been covered before.

But the basic jist is: if uve got air-con or have an intercooler in front of your radiator you will need the air-con bumper. The air-con bumper obviously sticks out a little more because you don't have the room in front of the radiator like others without air-con.

The cutting your grill panel is a necessity if you don't have air-con because the way the bumper works is by sliding the winch plate right upto the radiator to give you maximum room and entry angle.

Still confussed?

Hope that helps

Matt

PS try firstfour because they have three types of winch bumper. I bought a second hand shadow bumper and they still helped me out so I rate them, and there bumpers are tops.

Thanks Matt I ended up going to First Four and like you said they were brilliant, bumper is spot on to, the woman I spoke to about my enquiry at Rebel couldn't even be bothered to get back to me, says it all really!

No problem, glad you got one sorted. Heard good and bad things about rebel. it appears some days there good some there bad.
