PROPS with CV joints?

Hello to any boffins

According to my research, there may be props out there which have a CV joint on each end rather than a UJ - is this true? I ask because it may be a good way to rid oneself of vibration caused by lifting a Defender - when everything else just doesn't work.

I think the later Range Rovers might have had something like this - at least at one end of the prop.

Tried that one - didn't work at all. Even the double carden is not close to constant velocity, it has a cyclic variation in speed. If the angles are out of sync at each end of the prop, then one end will always be rotating momentarily at a different speed from the opposite one - in each rotation - even with a DC.
