Hi Adz, it's interesting to me that you so blatantly demonstrate you lack of knowledge on this subject on a public platform - but so be it.
Maximum torque on a 1200 Bandit is generated at 3500 - 3800 depending upon model year.
Maximum power is produced at 7,200rpm, with the race pipe on, otherwise it is 6,500rpm. You may also notice that the quote was for power at the wheel, not the crankshaft.
It has masses of grunt at all revs from 2,000rpm upwards.
It has a pwr of 502bhp/ton. By comparison a Tdi Discovery (like mine) has pwr of 55-62bhp/ton dependant upon model and specification.
It is not designed or intended (but is surprisingly competant) for off-road use.
It is more than capable on all tarmacced roads.
If I might offer a piece of advice, comment on things you are familiar with.
Cheers and continued good fortune
Dave
