LT230/LT77 gaskets?

About to split the boxes to replace a leaky shaft seal, cant find any info on whether there is a gasket between the transfer and gear boxes - any one confirm one way or the other? Really want to get it done in a 1er and not have to wait for parts to be delivered...

no gasket ,both boxes have seals and any leak should run out between the two

2 seals both the same part number I think and the sleeve they run on which can be a real toss to get off.
The sleeve is stepped so not sure if you can slide the gearbox seal over it?

Worth getting at least 1 extra seal for the inevitable!

Cheers lads! Certainly looks like a pig of a job, but its ****ing ATF from between and leaving its mark where ever it goes (unfortunately work dont like the mark, and have asked me not to park it in the car park until sorted)

I have ordered a few extra seals just in case!!
