Injector servicing

Injectors (H reg 200 tdi) out and will take in for servicing. Enquired at local landy shop re how much a set of replacement nozzles would be if I needed them. They said you can get them as they are two stage injector nozzles. Is that right. So other than clean them what can service man do. And if he says pattern is crap does that mean new injectors??

technically you cant reset them again with std injector tester ,as you can only test 1st stage and not second stage , but its possible if you use genuine bosch nozzles and new shims to get away with changing them as parts should be identically sized

they take them apart and rebuild them springs, internal seals, needles etc and then a pattern spray and pressure pop test.

Not a matter of wiping the tip clean
