Look at my name DUH LOL
The Landys battery is half dead but I decided to still check for leaking current.
Found that the flashing unit was hot, pulled it apart and found so e corrosion and metal chips between the solenoid and contactor.

Cleaned t all up and she worked fine howver when I turned off the key it started clicking rapidly like when a signal bulb is blown. Turn on ignition, it stops and signals work fine, key out..back to rapid relay clicking but no signal lights.

Upon doing some research I found the following, any truth yo this or was it coincidental?

Thanks.

My '87 NAS Rover has a Hella TBB45 Elektronic 4DM 003 460-02 Flasher Unit. And it works as it should.
The Lucas SFB165 electronic flasher doesn't. It's PRC5082 with Atlantic British.

Hopefully that helps if anyone ever runs into a similarly odd situation.

Is yoursthe tin-pot cylinder type or a plakky one?

I have never used an electronic unit, so I can't comment ...

On my Series I had a genuine Rolls Royce unit, which was a tin-pot type :D
