Hello,
i am thinking of transplanting a defender 200/300 tdi engine into my ex mod 1986 110....is the vehicle to old, is it possible and what cost should i expect including half decent engine ?

Anyone know of a mechanic in the shaftesbury, dorset area willing to do it ?

Cheers,

steve

If it was too old we would all be chugging around in 2.5 na's. Do it, nearly everyone does:D

To old, as in if i put an engine that is by far more powerful in the 110 then all the other old bits will start to fail...making it a very expensive project.

To be honest, i am more interested if there is anyone recommended near where i live...rather pay someone who is known than not :)

Send a PM to Wilts Landy Man. He knows a good mechanic in Wiltshire.
