Default ECU problem, again, oh and a small electrical fire

Just wondering if anyone could shed any light on this? (2000 td5 90)

other month ecu played up and long story short injecter harness was changed, with a couple of other bits done.
Today while driving, ecu light came on again but this time lost acceleration (no electricity to pedal!). Had a fiddle and turns out when i dip clutch light comes on and no power to acc. pedal. Played with fuses for a bit and got it working. Half hour later while driving engine cut out, then a small electrical fire started. Its now back in garage again!!

Please, any ideas?!

Where was the fire? Knowing this would help identify the fault.
