~I have a lot of corrosion on the bulkhead below the windscreen, including a rusty hole I made witha pressure washer by accident.

I have seen these bulkhead repair panels on paddocks. LR62R Bulkhead repair panel - RH

How are you sposed to fit them? Do you bolt them on or weld them on ? And do they fit straight onto the bulkhead as it is, or do you have to cut out the old section, if so how?! I dont really mind how messy it looks, my LR is function over form :D.

yer meant to cut out the rot to clean metal, ideally to good fit for the panel then weld it in, grind down the welds nice n smooth then fill and finish. I would have done that and had 2 panels ready but on removing the dash things were so bad I just got a salvage new bulkhead.

By the way if u still got ur two plates do you wana sell them?

gave them away, or you'd have had em.

Before you go buying any though have a really good look at your bulkhead - take off the dash top rail and the door seal trim where it passes the hinges. You may be lucky, or it may be shagged. Also have a really good look at your footwells. Sometimes it's easier and cheaper and a better repair job just to scrap the old un. I thought mine was ok, and it was the biggest heap imaginable once the trim was out the way.
