Hi there, Got my first landy the other week and the strip begins. I'm heading out to Afghanistan for 4 months next week so my mate has agreed to get it tarted up for me while I'm away. Picked up a 1990 def 90. Currently has a 2004 truck cab fitted with 2002 doors and discovery 200tdi dropped in place, not yet rigged up. Purchased from my mate at work for £300.
Dropped of at paul's and he said I wana rip the tub of and build up from scratch. Tiny bit of rust hole in the chassis at jacking points but apart from that it is sound. Getting it ripped apart, chassis galvanized. Heavy duty springs, chunky tires, front winch and bumper and painted in gloss black and getting rid of truck cab for a cab.
Obviously I am putting some pennys in his back burner for the work. Pics will get posted with the work he is doing
If anyone in scotland has a hart tail with windows for a 90 wana swap for a truck cab please get in touch. lol
