Hi all,

I have decided to open this thread to welcome feedback, questions, queries, what ever it may be that I can help you with.

The main reason I have started this is that if threads get opened in other sections I may miss it. I will monitor this thread very closely so if we can keep things in one place it will help.

Any issues give me a shout

Jordan

One thing that bugs me about not just Adrian Flux but most insurance companies is renewal premiums. Every time renewal comes around I phone to say its too expensive and would you believe every time I do you find a way to shave some money off.

It feels like your actively trying to con me. Why isn't the best price available offered first? Its like your banking on people not being willing to question your first offer.

I'd love to be able to just be loyal to one company and stick with you but loyalty isn't rewarded, its abused.

This happened to me this year with your Adrian Flux and after phoning to query my renewal it was significantly lowered. I considered moving away just because of what felt like dishonesty but I didn't in the end because renewal was easy than going elsewhere.

Will be interesting to see how much my renewal will be, on classic insurance and had a little bump with a Astra @ about 3mph, no damage to mine but Astra didn't look so good

Because many just pay up without thinking about it !

Like you said, Phone in, contest the renewal, threaten to go else where,

I personally had insurance with adrian flux years ago when i first learnt to drive, and have it for my landy now. They did fully comp, limited to 5000 mileage, ex-mil policy, no auto-renewal and breakdown and all that good **** with a price that was very very good. There was a slight confusion with date of registration but a 2 min phonecall and all was sorted.

I shall be ringing up again to renew a couple of weeks before my policy ends and if its more than last year i will question it etc. However for me, with my policy costing less than 90 notes a year i doubt it would be worth the hassle shopping about just to save a couple of quid. Better the devil you know.

I never had an issue with them in the past either, only reason i stopped my insurance with them is cos i went to lease motors.

Also Jordan was helpful when i had a query recently, if i am able i will phone him direct to renew.

Hi Jordan, here's a bit of feedback :)

I was very happy with the quote, much cheaper than I expected. I understand how difficult it is to go over everything on a heavily modified vehicle, and all the policy conditions over the phone, however there were some things I read when the paperwork arrived I was completely unaware of.

Personal Accident cover was added to my policy without me really understanding it was an additional fee. Keycare cover was added to my policy without me really understanding it was an additional fee. Since there was no clear breakdown of the total fee schedule, I had to phone up again to query this.

Since I had to collate a lot of information, modification forms, immobilizer declaration (for which I had to organize one to be fitted within 14 days) proof of no claims discount, and limited millage declaration during this 14 day period, it was more luck than judgement I happened to call and query the unwanted policy additions on the 14th day in time to cancel the unwanted additions in time! I would not have been a happy bunny had I missed this deadline!

Since there was no breakdown or clear invoice I was unaware the 7.5% discount for LZ members had been applied, so I had to call and check (it had been apparently that's how I know it was 7.5%)

The "dedicated number for LZ members" you had posted in a previous thread was not really a dedicated number, I had to still be put through to the 4x4 team.

However, your staff were very courteous, very helpful, and each time I rang to query things it was soon sorted out.

It seems you have a policy of not confirming you have received the requested paperwork, or maybe you do, I presume you have received the paperwork by now or you would have contacted me asking where it was, it would be nice to receive an email to confirm receipt rather than be left wondering.

I hope this does not sound too critical, I really am happy with the service I received from Adrian Flux.

Thanks for the comments guys, I will try and reply to each individually today.

Thanks

Jordan

Hi Jordan,

I may have just sent you a PM but can’t be certain. It sounds crazy I know but I’m still learning the PM system.:D

Near the top of the pm page there is a drop down box that is normally set to inbox, click and select 'sent items' to see what pms youve sent

What about multi vehicle and house insurance, can you do a discount if I have more than one policy with you? I have trouble getting multicar insurance with the big insurers as one is a rebuilt Defender with minor mods, which is worth more than the normal 20 year old Landy. My wife & I also have motorcycles.
