Had to ring customer services as i am changing my car, i chose the right option to go to and waited approx five mins and was asked for my details, when i said i am changling my vehicle she said i will have to pop you through to the right department, so waite again having to listen to all the adverts, and again was asked for my details, again i said i was changing my car and again she said i will have to pop you through to the right department, this went on another two times before i got put through to the right dept, i was 50 minutes on the phone, i think this is atrocious and when my policy runs out i will be leaving them for good.
WHAT A COMPANY, THEY CERTAINLY KNOW HOW TO WRECK SOMEONES DAY.

Sounds horribly normal for insurance companies.

A few years ago I spent 40 mins arranging cover with a different company giving details of every aspect of my life and the lives of everyone I'd ever met only to be told they don't insure vehicles that old.

The registration number was one of the first details they took :mad::mad:

Got my renwal quote from AF, so rang them to see if they could move on the price at all.
They told me to find a cheaper quote elsewhere myself, then ring them back and they would match it.
That cost them two car policies they will never see again.

Hi Peter,

Sorry about this. We've recently had a new telephone system installed which is still being fine tuned so unfortunately there is the odd occasion where a call may end up in the wrong place - I can only apologise for this.

What I would say to any of you on here who are with us, you can always drop me a PM and I'll deal with any enquiries without you having to call us, worst case is we'll give you a call (No phone bill to worry about, no waiting on hold ETC)

Again I am sorry that you had to wait for so long, I've passed the feedback on to our Customer Service management.

Kind regards
Jordan

All service businessese have occasional problems. My own experience with Flux Customer service was excellent, when due to Lancaster not forwarding my proof of NCD in the 14 day period, I called customer services and a very pleasant female assistant offered to ring Lancaster and accepted the verbal proof given over the phone. This saved me having to make any more expensive phone calls to Lancaster.

been with flux on and off for years, currently have 3 cars with them and a learner policy, never had a problem with their customer service or getting through to the right people

sometimes they haven't been the most competitive but that's life, you can't be the cheapest all the time, sometimes they have been able to get me better deals by speaking to an underwriter, sometimes they haven't.

I can vouch for Jordan - he's a top lad and does wonders via PM's.

Thanks for the feedback Paul, it's much appreciated.

As a lot of you know who have spoken to me, I only ever want to help and get you the very best deals I can. If we've done wrong I will do my best to correct it and prevent future occurrences.

I'm only ever a PM away and can sort most things quickly.

Kind regards,
Jordan

Flux have always been great for me and a massive +1 for pm'ing Jordon... Always a same day reply from him :)

Often the reason why you had to be put through multiple times is if the dept/number yer put through too is busy and yer left waiting for a while, then the call defaults to a human. They then put the call through again.

Was the music any good?
