Wanted - injection pump for a Disco 1993 200tdi

The injector pump on my 93 Disco 200 tdi is leaking diesel likes its been stabbed. It's my daily driver so its a bit of a problem.

I need a low cost replacement, what do you have?

Hi I have a reconditioned spare , but I wont be low cost if it needs to be sent to Italy ?

Hi no its stock its of my own 200tdi , when I bought the disco the pump had leaked diesel and destroyed the cam belt so when I rebuilt the engine and fitted a new cam belt kit I had a diesel pump place fit all new rubbers and seals to the pump , and its been running fine on my disco ever since

Hi no problem but you will have to bear with me for a while as I will have to go and remove the pump ( don't keep it where I live ) then clean it pack it up and get a recorded signed for postage quote so might be a few days but I will get back to you when I have the cheapest one

Hi well its off cleaned and packed , I took it to the post office today and not good news , they want £53 to send parcleforce international signed for to Italy , it weighs 8 kilo if you can find a cheaper way , just let me know and we can go that way

53 quid wow... I'll call a couple of couriers tomorrow and get a price, where is it shipping from?

Hi shipping from London , to be honest I would not ship it unless its tracked and signed for so its probable going to be a lot cheaper if you can source one where you are or get one a bit nearer

Hi to be honest I think that it might be easier for you to source a pump nearer home ,or maybe wait until you or a friend visits the uk and give me a message then , I wont have that one still but I am sure I will have another by then

yeah.... I wish, Landi parts over here are ridiculous and there no prospects of being in the UK in the near future. Meanwhile my pump is bleeding like its been stabbed. If I haven't fixed a courier by eob tomorrow then lets just ship it for 53 quid from the post office and be done with it.

I've had no joy finding a cheaper carrier, lets go with the post office, i'll pm you for payment etc.
