Might Swap you for my Defender. 1990 G Reg 200tdi, Typical Rough and Ready defender. Owned for a year now and its had new discs calipers pads, front and rear, new 2 inch lift kit, front hub rebuilt all bearings, swivels, seals ect., no oil or water leaks, Had chassis welded for MOT in December, Starts and drives perfect, doors are rusted away at the bottoms but I have 2 very good spares,.
Got a few bits and pieces for it light guards ect which I haven't fitted yet. needs some other minor repairs but what defender doesent, value it at around £5000, although it stands me more then that.
If I keep it Im planning a full rebuild when I can afford it.

Hi and thanks for the offer, after something a little less rough and ready, wife'll bloody kill me if it doesn't at least look tidy
I sold this for £6300 which I thought was a fair price and the truck owes me more.

How much is the road tax on the Hilux?

It's classed as a commercial so I think it's around £225.00 a year [I pay monthly], it is cheap compared to 4x4's with windows and seats in the back
