havent you got a std air filter already ?mpg wise you wouldnt notice

I've got a K&N air filter because I've got a Defender Carb on mine but I want to change back because it is very noisy. I should think there would be no performance penalty that you'd notice.

As to an electric fan - brilliant idea. I do lots of short journeys and I fitted a Kenlowe. I can now turn off the choke very soon after setting off, before it could be 8 miles or so before I could do that. Benefits on mpg and engine wear.

as said you will do is make your engine noisy if anything use more fuel kenlowe fan is a fab idea
