I think I've found the problem causing me to endlesslessy bleed the brakes- a brand new Pagid wheel cylinder is leaking.
The supplied bleed nipples are a poor fit in all of them
The whole lot might be going back tomorrow
Can people recommend a good make to buy asap please

Got TRW lucas on mine.
Used to look after the Nitrogen equipment for a TRW factory in the North East there Quality control standards where very high, got roasting off them when an issue occoured with the quantity of Nitrogen being supplied was affecting there solder flow electronic board production , turned out it was the equipment they had specified.

in a hurry for mot, so got a replacement pagid from eurocarparts, they accepted my comments about wasted hours and brake fluid, got a5litre bottle of dot4 out of them for nowt. Always worth a moan.
Bled loads, no air. Still need to pump the pedal :(
Cant see anything wrong with the shoe adjusters. Which may be cos I dont know what Im looking at.

Anyone near me willing to have a look over the weekend ?

might be useful to tell us where you are :D

Pagid is a large OEM supplier - there shouldn't be any inherent quality problems with 'em. Same parent company owns the better-known Mintex and Textar brands, and Pagid are in bed with Hella on brake bits.

Definitely not a blue-box-level or own-brand cheapie.

I've been having a little trouble with my brakes. Everything inspected and cleaned but still pulled to one side. Spent several hours inspecting and adjusting but still pulled to I've side.

Turned out that the post on the shoe which makes contact with the snail cam adjuster had become loose. I could adjust properly but when the brakes were applied the adjustment went out. Mintex shoes only 500 miles of use approx.

Not sure you can fully trust any brand these days.
