What color is this?

Hi Forum, I'm new hear, so hi!

I have a Series 3 that i have had since about the age of 16, first car i worked on. Its time to do it justice and re build it properly!

I really like the color of this landrover and wondered if anyone knows a similar color, I'm pretty sure its not a landy color, i could be wrong.

Thanks, narrows it down.

Looks a similar colour to "Nitemare's" Big Ears which was a standard colour. Not sure of the exact grey though.

might be "dove grey" not sure if that is the standard nomenclature though it was a popular colour for station wagons at one time I think.

Wrong. The colour is grey, the color is gray. Depends which side of the Atlantic you live on.

Battleship grey is the landrover name for series grey paint

It could be RAL 7022 Umdra Grey thats the colour we have chosen, see photo of the tube base I have painted.

there is also mid grey !

If it ain't on that chart it ain't a real landy!

Thanks for all the replies, The Umdra grey looks neat. I also agree with the light green / grey as i recon it has a tint of olive green in it.

The reason i ask is i think it looks a little more interesting than landrovers standard Mid grey.
