Been in today :) brakes are sorted, new tyres are balanced and the X brake will be here between 2:24pm and 3:24pm apparently :p

Looking forward to getting the little bastard back on tuesday, just need to hook some seat belts up to the roll cage

No truck build then? :p

Looks and sounds great though! Just don't ruin it please. :)

Interested about that over bored engine. Just ran some numbers on over bore, with 10thou it would be ~3545.9cc, 20thou would be ~3566.1cc and 40 thou would be ~3606.8cc

Has it really been bored out that much? Blimey! Didn't realise the liners on a 3.5 block were that thick. I should look that up.

Got any more information on that, receipts? Sounds interesting.

Keep the pictures and videos coming please! ;)

This kinda blew the budget on the truck build so things are on hold for now

I'll be fitting diff and steering guards to it for the laning trip later this month as well as a full straight through system on a larger bore but thats about it. May make up a truck cab for it too and it needs some seatbelts :p other than that not got much planned for it other than drivability mods like soundproofing and a smaller wheel

Making sure anything I put on can be removed and is only bolt on so it doesn't damage it......if not I'd have bought or made weld on diff pans instead of expensive QT ones

He may have rounded the numbers up to 3.6 but thats what I was told, not had a look through the receipts though

Thought you had gone quiet on the truck build when you started posting about this... ;)

Good, as long as you don't ruin it!!! :D

If they rounded the numbers up then its probably had a +20 thou pistons. Round 3566cc up and you get 3.6. That's a bit cheating though. :p

I think videos will be needed when you've got the exhaust done. And the roof off. And the doors off. :D

Listen to that V8 roar! Don't be chicken and take it to 5,500rpm easy! :violent:

Dunno about 5500  pretty sure thats real close to the danger zone on these isn't it?

But exhaust will get sorted next week if I have time, no idea if I'll have to modify the passenger manifold slightly but hoping not! If so I can hook everything up and run the bastard :D plan is to have them hidden behind the rock sliders just at the back of the front wheel arches
