Anyone have a new, or good used one for sale. Just bought a genuine 38,000 mile '78 109 pickup that deserves to live a lot longer but I cant find a manifold. Hope someone can help.

Is it the same as the 6 cylinder out of rover cars (possibly the p4?), if it is it might be worth asking on a rover forum, sure theres more of them than 6 pot series

Unfortunately, the outlet to the exhaust is in a different location vs the P4 due to other bits in the way. So, the parts aren't interchangeable.

Thanks. But ebay item too far gone and Craddocks new part is half what I paid for the landy! New price is ridiculous - I can get one fabricated for less. But, I'd rather have the original part. A lot of 2.6 blocks have been scrapped due to poor MPG, so there must be some good second hand spares out there.

These are like hens teeth to get hold of an original...and damned expensive as a re-manufactured part. Good luck getting hold of one, worth it for a great period engine (but not without its flaws).

That's interesting. Back in the late eighties I transplanted a P5 engine, complete with Weslake head, into a six cyl. 109 safari (fantastic conversion, 70 mph cruising plus more economical) & the manifold lined up to the LR exhaust system without any mods. but I can't remember if I used the original 2.6 LR manifold or the P5.
