Hi - I have a non standard 12v +ve earth fuel pump in my 1955 2litre series 1 and it has just expired. I believe the original one was a SU AUB79. These seem quite expensive, if I am going to buy a new one, is there a more reliable non-points version anyone can recommend?

Failing that has anyone got a decent 2nd hand unit they will flog to me?

Cheers

Mark

Dingocroft do them at a reasonable price, also a renovation kit if you get a duff one orff fleabay and rebuild it. (I think the moggie minor one is similar) Dingocroft (Penn Rental Service Ltd t/a) Fuel Pumps

Also, you can convert it to electronic, but not that cheap. https://www.holden.co.uk/displaypro...=0102&agName=SU+Fuel+Pump+Parts&pCode=015.471

If you'r not worried about originality but more on reliability , then look at mitsuba or bendix/facet as they are contactless , you need a low pressure pump 3-5 psi
