Evening all,

Well its that time of year again (MOT booked in for tomorrow) just popped out to make sure she's starting and the lights are working etc and she's being a right bugger to get in gear. I've been able to select the gears and ill take her for a spin before the mot to try and free things up etc. she's been standing for a 2 or 3 months so is this sounding like sticky clutch plates or maybe something else?

Hope you not all soo sozzled you cant offer comments LOL

Thanks Andy

See if the hydraulics need bleeding or the fluid needs replacing, but it might just need a bit of use to free it up. Or new master and slave cylinders.

hi, that's all been done. last bit was done a few weeks ago but couldn't take it on a drive as run out of time.... fingers crossed for the mot and ill have to do better taking her out for a spin more often :)

Take it clutch does work just a bit sticky.try slipping it a bit to clean up flywheel and clutch plate, foot on brake or on a slope.

Hi.
thanks for the comments and ideas... just to let you know she walked through the mot with no advisory s. The clutch is working much better now... ill try rebleeding and maybe a new clutch in the spring....well ive had this lady for over 10 years and not changed it so maybe its time lol
