Speedo cable screws - gearbox end

Anyone tell me the correct part numbers or specification for the 3 little screws which hold the speedo cable into the gearbox? I looked up the part number in the parts catalogue and ordered them from LRDirect and the screws that arrived are far too small for the holes...

I have not got the part number but they are always on ebay under parts and accessories.

Ah good call... why didn't i think of that!

Though i am concerned by the listing description...

Applicable Models:
Land Rover Series 1 2 2a,& 3. 4 & 6 models only

Firstly they made a Series 4 and 6? And secondly - what on earth do you use if you happened to have a Series 5?!!!!

If it helps, those little slotted screws on my Series I were 2BA, and I got some replacements out of a couple of old conduit boxes.

Just the right length too
