spammers help

Hi

I'm just after buying myself some scanners for working on my series 3 I've got plenty of metric stuff but I could do with a list of common sizes I will need whist working and owning my series 3 diesel. So if anybody could help and start a list of sizes I will require.

Try doing a search. As it has been covered before. But if you buy a couple of good sets of whitworth & AF spanners. you'll have most of em covered.

Just go to halfords and buy their 150 piece professional set, lifetime guarantee, AF and metric sizes and only around £100.

We talking about spammers or scanners?

you want AF spanners and sockets ,only whitworth nuts and bolts are on gearbox,a set from 7/16 to 15/16 would do most stuff

There are a few 5/16" and 3/8" AF on there too.

8mm and 5/16" are the same so you should be ok there. 3/8" is equal to around 9.5mm so it's best to buy a proper 3/8" Spanner.
