Hi. After refitting axle and most of the other parts on my latest rebuild, ( 1977 Series 3 swb) I have found that the standard (rtc430) shock absorbers are not long enough by about an inch. I have 9 leaf, what seems to be heavy duty springs on. (they are thicker than the old ones taken off)
Any advice on which shockers to fit would be appreciated.

You'll need to experiment for a nice ride, having too-hard springs will lead to a very bouncy ride so you'll need to tame that with some stiffer shocks. I got some de Carbon gas shocks after finding the standard ones gave too giddy a ride with LWB parabolics on an empty SWB. If you need them longer too it might be worth calling *addocks and asking for advice on what they stock...

Procomp ES300 (+2") would be a reasonable starting point I would think - Paddocks sell them and quite reasonable too
