Sender Unit Series 3 Petrol

Well folk's, do any of you suffer from the sender unit float catching the baffle inside the petrol tank?

Fitted a new sender unit and this one did the same as the old one! any ideas as to prevent it as running out of petrol is a real pain in the ass!

either fit it in the correct position or if is bend float arm a little
