Default Seatbelts in a rag top

Converting the Series III to soft top. The question is: where do I anchor the seatbelts at shoulder hieght? The sticks that hold the canvas do not appear to have any brackets to hold the seatbelts. Any ideas? Apart from putting in a roll bar that is.
Thanks

Exmoor Trim do an Inertia Reel kit that will mount on the top of the centre bulkhead. Not ideal for comfort though. You can't mount them on the hood sticks, nowhere near strong enough.

I made some brackets from 8mm steel plate with 80 x 80 RSA drilled to suit inertia reel belts.

Have a look at the picture in my profile.

Nice Series. Can see how you've done the brackets but I have not got the kit to fabricate something similar. May go down the Exmoor route. Looked on the wesite and they have lap belts. Are these legal for the front seats?
Good idea with the tailgate also. I take it that the hinges are from a hard top back door. Could not see in the picture how you locked it in the closed position.
Thanks

I used the original tailgate "Slotted" fasteners with the brackets top and bottom on the LH Side.
