bad news, I failed on hesitation once, get your dad to take out one of those learner policies and take you out in the rush hour, that soon gets you moving, around £60 for a month any car up to group 30. the minors you can probably sort easy, hesitation just needs more practice

Learner Driver Insurance | Provisional Insurance | Marmalade

that's what I am going to do for my boy when he gets near to test time

If anyone is wondering what's going on with the series I'm waiting for it to warm up and been working on this over the last few months

It's nice to work on something else its stops the whole losing enthusiasm to get the build finished but just to prove I haven't sold it or anything stupid like that here's a picture in what little snow we had in Birmingham

Sorry i missed your birthday mate, so 1st of happy birthday, second off does that mean i get my bonnet lights back lol:D

I failed on hesitation at a roundabout once. second time lucky though hopefully :)
Thats what I failed on at a round
about can't remeber if I posted what I failed on it felt **** at first but like you said second time lucky and I even asked the examiner to why he thought it was dangerous he couldn't give me an answer just kept going on about the queue I caused

So had a break from working on my seicento and started some work on my series both seats bolted harnesses mocked in decided the the bulkhead that the previous owner has put in will be moved to the back for the king cab as it looks like a perfect fit and I'll get a bulk head removal bar to go in

Also have new parts on the way just got to be striped off a mates chassis now he's breaking it so new Rocky mountain parabolic springs and shocks p38 steering box and brackets

Diff guards light guard for the fog light upper thermostat housing also to a few pictures of a series running disco axles I know theres a few threads with how people have done it but I've always wanted to see one in the flesh on how it's done and for what you can pick disco axles up for I might as well go that route so I the plan once I get my paras I'm going to get all the axles mocked up then roll the disco axles under with the paras on and take the old axles and springs off

And as last Monday I past my test and yesterday went offroading with the old man girlfriends dad and a few other lads definitely can say now I've been bitten by the bug again and really going to start cracking on now

I'll be honest I haven't done much to the series been getting seriously stuck in with my fiats definitely have a bug for Italian motors but today something might of happen that has re kindled my love for the old girl and to get her and my seicento finished so I can finally sack off the punto I've been driving around in

And I know since this isn't to everyone's taste to apologise to anyone that get offended the new wheels are 35-13.50-15 on 15x10 -32et
And one odd ball one that's a 16 that I need to find a rim for might need some arches now

It's getting there slowly haven't don't alot but that's just down to mean being lazy and playing with small fiats

just had a look at your thread and you been on it for a couple of years now, i see the weather is not always the best there,
id say your series 3 will stand out in the crowd, but she sure has the defender look to it, the parabolics should make the ride better, maybe you could get some sound proofing on the inside and under the bonnet, cause with a diesel let alone some petrols at highway speeds with no overdrive in you can barely hear the radio or even the passenger talking, you'd go deaf pretty quick dont want that as when your older you'd probably need hearing aides, my dad has them cause he used to work on a farm driving a chamberlain tractor at full throttle all day and that was a open cab, anyway a series with a diesel is much noisier then a discovery with a diesel in it.

hopefully you get her on the road some time in the next few months.

Tony.
