Is this Mainshaft Dead ?

Hello,
Just stripped down the gearbox and the centre of the mainshaft looks like this, can anyone tell me if this is normal wear for a 30 year old Land Rover and should I be looking for a new mainshaft ?

deffo a new one needed , was there any oil in it, looks like it hot well hot

Yep new shaft needed + bearing ( looks like its picked up at some point and spun on the shaft )

Is this Mainshaft Dead ?
