Yup, and build a dimmer for them. Might put another strip in the speedo so it an back light the odometer too

I actually have a circuit diagram somewhere for a simple dimmer, so may pop into maplins and pick some bits up this week.

Fixing Land Rovers this week

First I thought I would have a go at reinstalling the alpine window swmbo knocked out at the last RTV

As you can see she did a cracking job of reshaping the roof line too.

Never mind, some judicious thwacking with a big hammer and the ally was roughly encouraged into a suitable orifice.

Cor what little buggers they are. However after a while I had it sussed and managed to get the feller back in.

Putting the lock bead in is rather laborious.

I then invetigated the drivers side and found the top edge of the glass was out of the seal too. courtesy of another tree slide a few trials ago. So I pulled the glass out and realligned it, just need to get the bead back in.

Today I decided to finally fit the 8 spokes and 265/85r16s to the 110. I also took the opportunity to replace the rear bottom shock bushes that I bought back in May :) as you can see from this thread I got sidetracked by the 80.

Looking Good!!

I was supposed to be up Brickhill today with bhclrc watching but ended up playing toy heli's and flying wings and then Shopping!

Are you trialling next Sunday? at Brickhill??

Anglian LRC,

How did Luke do in his RRC??

Yes Stu I'm going Dec 8th probably just marshalling in the 90 wreck as its now known.

Will be at the Pub meet Weds as usual!! P.s I may have a few Q's to throw your way about shotguns and Practical shotgun comps.

I took a day off welding upside down and working in the cold for some much needed fun.

Next week back to usual getting dirty now.

Killajoules looks Grand!!

It's the cvlrc rtv there next week. Me, stutab and djdommyp will be playing.

I am a bhclrc member too but have not done any of their trials yet.

Hmm, OK driven to work today, wheels definately need re balancing, over 50 theres a hell of a wobble on the steering :(

Anyway, what do you all think to the Gayspokes ?

With Gay Spokes on 265/75r16 BFG AT the wheels just fit within the arches.

With original Boost alloys and original 235/85r16 General Grabbers.

Maybe I should post a vote in the LZ world?

New bfg's tyres on alloys!

I'm not an alloys fan normally but the 8 spokes to me makes the 110 look older than it is by a few years. Bloody good tyres tho for a road motor.

Gave Killajoules a hand tinkering with a few bits on his 80, wanted it done for triling tomorrow :crazy_driver:

Joules played with the illumination of the dash board

So while Joules was playing about with electricary I made some strengthening bits for the mirrors. They also double up as grab handles to shut the doors when open forward :D
