interior colour

Should the interior be painted body colour?
Ive got two different tubs and under the various layers of paint, both are grey behind the seats.

Undercoat? As far as I know all Series were the same inside as out.

There might have been exceptions but I've not seen one

Grey? Mine's a very pale blue under the green.

Inside is usually body colour. Hardtop/Truck cab in Limestone is popular but I guess no fixed rule.

If I may offer a different oipinion...

Yes, they are traditionally body colour and my 109 and 86 are such. However, when redoing the very scabby interior of my 110 (hey, it's a Series IV )I made a conscious decision to go with a light grey rather than the OD it was currently painted or the yellow I plan to repaint it at one point.

Depending on the colour, it may be a bit hard on the eyes - I personally don't like a loud interior so went with a neutral colour that goes fine with the current and will work nicely with future changes.
