Hello ! Ive just completed a 3 year full restoration on my 1974 swb series 3 landrover. The chassis has been hand built using a home made jig, 3mm steel and two original crossmembers to retain its identity. The badly rusted bulkhead has been rebuilt and the rear tub damaged aluminium has been replaced. Every single component has either been replaced with genuine parts or refurbished and finally painted in dark green. Regards Chris

That looks superb. You've got yourself a Land Rover for life there.

3 year project is a long time and commitment.. So what now? Is it too early to talk of a new project?! :)

Many thanks for all the compliments! Divie I wont be going laning! It was a restoration I REALLY enjoyed and I want to keep her as she is. Land Raver my new project is a 1969 Austin Morris van, below are a few pics of her now regards. Chris

love those old moggies :D there is a decorator round here still uses one of those, from the look of him he may have bought it new.

looks like that's going to be another long one

Good luck with the Moggy. I started a Moggy Station Wagon project with a family friend when I was just 8/9 years old, some 34 years ago. Never got anywhere near finished but I learnt skills and knowledge that stay with me today. Happy days they were. :)
