OK then My project is coming along nicely so it was time to look at the electrics. I have a LWB FFR 24volt and here is what we have going on.

The Front headlights and side lights work just fine.

The indicators only work on the off side.

The hazards only work on the offside.

The rear side lights only work on the offside.

Fog lights don't work at all.

The horn, wipers and washers don't work.

have taken the dash off and there is this wire just floating about looking like it should be attached somewhere...

The fuse box looks past its best if I am honest with corrosion on the terminals and if you move it around the dash instruments work then don't then do again.

SO where is best to start folks? Start at the fuse box? Would there be any type of relay in particular that could cause this?

I'm learning as I go on the electrical side so please be gentle with me lol

Get the owners manual!!!!! The a5 ish size one, it has full wiring diagrams in it, with wire colours !!!
It wouldn't hurt to get some very fine sandpaper and take out each fuse and clean it till it's shiny, and also of course clean the carrier, and if I'm honnest, if you suspect a dodgy connection and you can see one that looks drity, take it apart, clean and re assemble-!

Some decent quality switch cleaner (NOT WD40) like this might help.ECSP400D - ELECTROLUBE - ECS + 400ML | CPC

Yes, it's not cheap and there are other cleaners available but I trust this stuff. Don't use it where you might flush out lubricant you don't want to, like alternator and motor shafts - I once buggered a tape machine capstan motor doing this!

Oh yes, clean up all the earth points with abrasive paper, put back together with serrated washers and cover with a coat of paint or grease to stop them corroding. Well worth the effort.
