5/16" BSF and UNF Handbrake clevis pins

A while ago, I removed both the handbrake clevis pins from the rods to give them a clean up.

The rod that goes from the handbrake lever to the bell crank is threaded 5/16-24 UNF, so I ran a 5/16 UNF tap through to clean out the threads. However, I didn't realise that the rod from the bell crank to the expander is actually 5/16-22 BSF until after I had put the unf tap through the clevis. Obviously this ruined the threads, but I assumed the resistance was simply due to dirt and rust.

I found out via google that there are two separate part numbers. 215809 for BSF, and 275199 for UNF. However, I have seen both UNF and BSF advertised online with either of these numbers. How can I be sure what I'm buying if I order one?

The problem I'm having is knowing which part number is which as both numbers seem to be used for UNF ones.

Thanks for the link. It does seem that the number 275199 is more commonly used for the UNF type.
