Hello

Here for sale is an exceptional Discovery which belongs to a customer of mine.

It is a 1999 model, imported to the UK in 2007.

This means, in rust terms, it is like an 07 plate car, and that means it has none.

I'm a Land Rover specialist in particular Disco 1s and ive never seen one like this.

The boot floor is like brand new, I want to frame it and stick it on the workshop wall! :D

Apart from the mods, another great thing I noticed about this vehicle is it has effectively the same long motor as a Disco 2, which means it has 10 bolt heads and composite head gaskets, but it still has hotwire injection as per normal 3.9 motors.

It has done 67000 miles and frankly it's just unreal how like new it is, I've never seen one so rot free and with such a sweet motor, but I guess that's the year and mileage speaking for themselves.

It has fitted:

2" Terrafirma Shock/Spring lift
Stainless cat back exhaust
33" GT Mud tyres on 15x10 modulars
Safari style snorkel with 4x raised breathers
50mm Flatdog arches
Britpart style flush winch bumper
Custom galvanised rock and tree sliders
Heavy duty steering bars
Terrafirma return to centre steering damper with Gwyn Lewis relocation kit
4 bolt "200 style" rear propshaft
Whitbread off road bucket seats
Roof light bar
Front grille strobes
CB radio and sub woofer
Custom rear shelf

We had it MOT'd in January which naturally it passed without issue, it was serviced in i think December and I didn't find any issue, bearings/axles/props etc were checked out all good, as expected for a 67k car.

I should note this has only been an off roader for around 6 months, owner has had a change of plan.

As such it is more or less mint on the body save a few tree scratches.

Everything is working properly, the ABS functions correctly, there are no lights on the dash, and the autobox/transfer case are tried and tested all good.

This car is absolutely ready for action, asking £2400.

Please ask any questions!

Cheers! :D

I'm very tempted, missus would kill me though!! The good ones always come up for sale when i've got no money spare and no bloody room on me drive.

Yes mine is an county and an import but its been over here a while and had a hard life so not rust free. Still far far better than most disco 1's I went to see though which is why I bought it.

Nice to put a face to the name.

Now I've just got to get Alex upto speed on driving off tarmac before our groups next laning trip.
