Td5 fault codes

Hi, just had a winch wired in and whilst there the auto electrician read fault codes, as follows

0110 egr vacumm modulater stuck closed

0120 can error

now the egr valve has been removed and soloniod pipes sealed, but the soloniod is still plugged in, would this give these faults and should the i unplug the soloniod?

I had my Disco remapped a month ago, and I think I recall having those same faults. My EGR is also deleted and the chap that did the remap was happy that these fault codes were as a result of this and nothing to worry about.

I,ve just checked the read out he gave me,

Code 001, Air flow circit fault.
Code 002, Can error fault.

It wasnt read with a Nanocm, so the faults are just numbered.

Unplug the solenoid. At the very least it stops the ECU trying to switch it. The ECU will record an EGR open circuit fault but it then behaves as if the EGR is not fitted. There is a software switch that can be reset to disable EGR activation but mine would not switch when I borrowed Rattys Nanocom.
