TD5 bio

Hello

Could someone please tell me if a td5 disc would run on bio?

The fuel is very good quality and home made.

does annoy one know of problems with it?

Been searching the internet and can't get a straight answer.

People say it won't and will cause major damage others say it will run fine....

Quite a few people have run and are still running on Bio. I did for a while on a 2001 TD5 Auto but then the supply stopped. There are loads of write ups on this subject with lots of different answers. Take a look at this thread.

did you have any problems while running your disco on bio?

none at all. seemed to be fine. same mpg and no performance difference. Just a different smell from the exhaust

I had a go with Bio a while back... may not have been related, but my pump gave up, and when removed was clogged with black ****e!!... got cold feet after that! It did seem to have a bit more power, and less noise on the bio!? I did one of those courses on how to make bio, and tested the stuff I was running - test was good...

I'm thinking of running with small doses (300ml) of 2 stoke oil in a tank of derv... I know others have tried it on here....

Could that of been caused by the dirt in the bottom of the tank?

i know that the bio cleans everything out, as filter of fourtrak to start with was pretty bad but not there is no dirt or crap anywhere in the system


would there be a way of cleaning tank out first????
