I have just changed my vacuum pump a few days ago and it worked fine.

However yesterday there was a tappity noise and hard breaks again, I took off the hose and it's back to no suction :(

So I'm guessing the new pump is now stuffed, But why, what would be causing this to happen. I don't want to get another new pump and break that one to.

Thanks for your thoughts.

if cam lobes are ok ,poor pump

Thanks for the fast response.

So is there a way to know if the cam lobes are ok, is it just a visual inspection?
And when you say poor pump I guess you mean it's just crap that has failed.

Do you have any recommendations for a good make?

Thanks
