Alright chaps, I want to start using bio diesel in my 1996 90 300tdi. £1.37pl reg deisel is killing me! I think with the money I save im going to treat her to a icon grill facelift and a satin black roof/alloy spray

Can my engine take it without any tweaks?
What type of biodiesel is best for engine health?
Can I use I on its own or do I have to mix it with reg, if so what percentage?
Is biodiesel a nogo in the winter months (in freezing temps)?
Where's best to buy it?/ what's the general price?
How often do I have to change the filter/can it not just be washed?
What's the deal with tax (if any) / do I have to declare that ive made the switch?
