I bought a series 3 petrol, 5 bearing? The thing refuses to start. New plugs/ dizzy cap/ condenser/plug leads/points/coil/battery.
It turns over(slowly) but i dont think there is a spark.
Now i am new to this, please dont assume that the simple things have been done because, being honest, i am no mechanic!
I have had series in the past and they would always start even on three cylinders.
I actually bought this off fleabay when i was drunk so you can imagine the wife is over the moon having yet another 2 ton of rust on her drive.
If anyone can help i would appriciate it. Please use VERY simple terms.
