:welcome2: to the loonyzone! :)

The specifications which you require would pretty much rule out most Landrovers I have met! :D

Introduce Yourself may not be the best place for this question, try posting in General Land Rover Chat, maybe? ;) :)

Will do, I meant comfortableish, she did used to drive my old one so she knows what she's about !!

Welcome to the nut house:5bdriving:

You won't have time for a Mandy for the weekend, unless she's also good with spanners. Depending on your budget you can always swap the seats for a modern set, Mazda RX8 seats or Smart car seats seem a popular choice.

As said tdi 90's would suit you fine or if it's got to be a series you could look at ones with a 200tdi engine retro fitted.

Have a search on both forums to see what others have done

She does like the series, but they are getting a bit long in the tooth now, PAS would be a good idea , I do like the idea of a series with a new chassis , also like the not ECU and Gubbins engine, as they go on for ever, mine did until the chassis finally succumbed to tin worm . Maybe a late series 3 or early 90 ? .

200 and 300 tdi engines are non ecu

Its for my Mrs , just have to learn a few different skills , it's an electronic thing , sure I can get my head round that , she wanted something comfy, compact and AWD for when we get get snowed in , which does happen where I live. Should fit the bill , I am an inveterate tinkerer so should be fine.
