Now that I've had my knuckles rapped for not saying hello first...

I've visited the forum many times before as a guest and have always found an answer to my questions until now. I live near Clitheroe in the north of England and following a disastrous experience with a 1.8 petrol Freelander, I'm now totally besotted by my 2006 Freelander TD4.

Best Land Rover experience... driving and camping aroud Zimbabwe and Botswana for six months in a clapped out Series II.

;)

Nice one mate! :) That is the way to do it, rather than going off on one as some have done when suggested that they introduce themselves :)

Welcome to the loonyzone, that sounds like a great trip, I have several friends in Southern Africa, and a s2 is a stylish way to travel!

Sure you wil get help with your motor, the freelander peeps always seem to know their stuff, I guess they get plenty of practice!:D
