Now that I've had my knuckles rapped for not saying hello first...

I've visited the forum many times before as a guest and have always found an answer to my questions until now. I live near Clitheroe in the north of England and following a disastrous experience with a 1.8 petrol Freelander, I'm now totally besotted by my 2006 Freelander TD4.

Best Land Rover experience... driving and camping aroud Zimbabwe and Botswana for six months in a clapped out Series II.

That is the way to do it, rather than going off on one as some have done when suggested that they introduce themselves

Welcome to the loonyzone, that sounds like a great trip, I have several friends in Southern Africa, and a s2 is a stylish way to travel!

Sure you wil get help with your motor, the freelander peeps always seem to know their stuff, I guess they get plenty of practice!
