Hello,
I have just joined Landyzone under my logged name Diydad, which at the moment is a bit of a misnomer a I am stuck. I have had a Discovery 2 for over a year and covering just 600 miles other than a failed SLs compressor not much else.
Unfortunately, the Disco failed its MoT last week on something that is rather bemusing. It has two dead amigos and one live one! The ABS and TC lights do not light up, however, the HDC does. Having trawled through 100's of web blogs I have not seen anyone having this problem
I have a Lynx diagnostic, that told me the shuttle valve was not operating (have replaced it with a new one). Also tells me that the ABS and TC lights are forced off. The wheel sensors have current going to them and tried this morning to road test the vehicle and it just showed errors in the link from PC to vehicle. The Lynx told me that all the grounds are OK, so I thinks it points to a SLABS malfunction.
Am I on the right track?
Thank you all for such interesting reading on the forum.
