Welcome back Yella.

Oh I don't know I'm having a whale of a time over there. They might like to think anything goes but there a bunch of insecure uptight bastids.

Normality?

If this list becomes anything close to normality I'm definitely quitting.

Meantime I'm back, so all you poor sods out there who thought you had gotten rid of me can think again!

What a good day!

My wee lightweight was taken away to get fitted with a turbo diesel and an overdrive! WHOOPEE !

If anyone wants a 2.25 petrol engine that runs like a sweetie (Weber carb) let me know. I might not even want money for it.

It's a good day.

nice to have you back as well Mr Y - we'd all miss your bedtime stories if you left

seems like 2.25s arent worth their weight in tree bark these days - collected one today (that i didnt have to travell 400 miles fer) which had a nearly new weber on, a 3 month old denso alt and and been "done up" by turners 4k ago - fer £58

but if yer given yours away fer free i now feel like i've been done

It would have cost more that £58 fuel to come for it, so you haven't been done. Maybe HBG will want it for a spare?

A great big shed .... nothing less ..... and HBG could start making Landy spares from hardwood. Beech pistons, mahogany conrods, walnut veneer body panels .... niche market ....
