does anyone know of the top of thier head what the offset is on a standard defender wheel? swaping mine after thining about what jai said to some modular 8x16's with my insa specialtrax's 265's. trying to work out how much difference there will be with the new rims against the 30mm spacers.
if that makes any sense at all

hey, if you get 130 rims they are the most offset std rims landy made in tubeless. I have some forward control 2b rims which are very sort after being the most offset LR made but are tubed and are like rocking horse poo. The modulars max offset have a similar if not the same offset as the 2b rims but look crap IMO I like landy rims. But its the only option to keep them tubeless. Can have a measure tomorrow.

ok thanks jai. the standard rims on mine now look like they have an offset of about 5" does that sound about right?

my new modulars are 8" apparently

so is the 'theory' that the tyre will now sit 3" further out over the hub and give me a 6" wider stance?? all a bit confusing but im getting it i think.

and in turn that would be the same as having kept my standard rims and put 3" spacers on?

sorry if i sound dense but i want to get this in my head at last!!!
