to both yu and Adz - int that the understanding anyway - if we go orfroading and yu get stuck - yu dont ask the other guys if they insured to tow ya out - or ask for a disclaimer first. I dint see DV or Boomer signing Disclaimers for Si or Ratty on the weekend. I can understand (and agree) that it is at the risk of the peep being towed, but doesnt that come under "accepted practice" for those not in business?

I wasnt just thinking of a physical tow - maybe just the name of a known good indy....

or maybe a post such as "Si has broken down in Truro - can anyone help?" it would be then down to individuals to decide whether to reply to the post and then come to a personal understanding with the peep needing some help.

a register would be difficult to administer. Just take the tel no of someone who can put a post up on here and who can give your mobile number to any prospective helpers. They can then make any individual choices between the two.

and this list would be kept up to date by someone (thanks for offering MHM ) and distubuted to those participating in it

perhaps if someone needs help who isnt yet on the list they could be sent some contact details for their nearest in return for a small (fiver?) donation to the LZ annual manc burning (barbie)/GL weekend fund
