lomo-landy, the list of faults found by "the landy specialist" makes me laugh.

drivers and passenger seatbelts damaged. Most seat belts have some sign of damage.
passenger catch ill adjusted. It's a Landy, none of the buggers shut properly.
all four track rod ends on steering dangerously worn. If so, how the hell did you drive it home, it would have steered like a jelly.
front radius arm bushes worn. They all are mate!!
rear damper bushes seriously worn. Again, quite normal, ten minutes to fix and a few pounds to buy.
rear propshaft uj worn. Did you not hear it clanking on the way home ??

steering damper bushes worn. Are you sure this Landy specialist has ever seen a Landy before.
various brake pipes corroded. Well they would be, good money earner for the "Landy specialist" :D:D
rear dif seal leaking . Quite normal.
various engine oil leaks. Quite normal. :D
all 4 wheels have worn and ill adjusted bearings. Oh! the bill just gets bigger
rear diff oil needs replacing. How the hell did they determine that
rear brake discs and pads worn. Another money spinner for the "Landy specialist.
fuel tank leaking. Did you not notice that for yourself :doh:
brake fluid discoloured. What colour is normal then??
auxilary drive belt worn. Now they are just taking the **** mate.
ignition barrel sticking. Again, did you not notice that for yourself

Your so called Landy specialist is having a bloody cash field day with you mate.

They had a nasty habit of stopping ya on a whim and then going over car to try and find something to do ya for. after the event. Checking lights were working was a fave. Tis now been decided that they only need to be working when it's darl/foggy.

imho its not jc thats ripped you off

its the so called indy who saw a landrover newbie coming and piled on all the usual tricks and has robbed you blind

why dont you name and shame them so we know who not to use,it seems that you are every robbing bastids perfect customer

a complete set of poly bushes for less than £100 and a days tinkering wold cure most of those probs. leaky steering box throw a cap full of brake fluid in the PAS reservoir, seatbelts are always frayed if not too bad leave em.

I reckon a long weekend and less than £250 would have cured most of those probs..
