Over last couple of weeks I have been getting a vibration through steering wheel when accelerating (well getting moderately faster) so tonight investigated to find drop arm ball joint fooked and n/s front track rod end fooked . Track rod end easy enough . Now after Looking at busters photo thread am in 2 minds as to buy repair kit or complete arm .incase innards won't come out of arm virsus arm won't come off steering box ,how tight on are the arms to the box.any info appreciated

Be carefull I bought a repair kit from paddocks, It was made in india junk and it sheared.
Luckily it happened while testing.
Moral is be carefull where you buy the kit from

i got a kit from RST and been fine and i used a hydrolic puller, took seconds, you could prob hire one

The arms on the box can be very tight even with a hydraulic puller, sometimes they pop of and sometimes so much pressure is required that they fly of and nearly take your fingers off. Though if you take the whole box off and hit the arm near the top with a lump hammer even the tightest come off with 2 or 3 wacks.
