Popping up to brecon this weekend hoping to drive sarn helen over bryn melyn, does any one know if this is open or the conditions, open to pointers for other routes in the area.

Looking for striaght forward routes for a keen novice.

cheers

i didnt think this route closed for winter? condition is good. i drove it in the last 6months and they were putting hardcore down on some of the sloppy sections. steps into the river are still in good nick. plenty of other little byways around that way, check the OS map and link them up. quite a few over Llandovery way, im working up there this week :) works landy is getting a thrashing :D

thanks for the info, looking forward to getting up there, conditions for a relative novice are .......

No he left me nagative feedback this week "Did not pay or collect" I had a chat with him and he withdrew it again. But he did say he'd sold it on. So it looks like Yella's bumperless. unless some one's gonna Wales fer the shindig and wants to pick it up. They can give me a lift as well if they want GRUNT!!!!

i thought sarn helen (north of the main road, not the access from neath valley) wasnt TRO.

the GAP deff is a TRO though

Well I drove the Gap last sunday. So did lot of others.

As for Sarn Helen, depend on what part as it runs from North to South Wales.
