S*L*U*T*S Autumn Laning And Chips By The Sea
After yesterdays successful recce trip with myself, Dorset Vogue SE, Ratty, Mad Hat Man, Sirus, Drewster, Zan79 and Robint, we have decided to post this planned day out laning the wilds of Dorset.
The idea came about originally as a thankyou to the T*O*S*S*E*R*S for their hospitality the other day at their summer BBQ and has evolved into a general invite and get together for both them and other Landyzone members who are interested.
The date for this trip is Saturday 25th October.
It will be a long(ish) day, so anyone coming a fair distance may wish to come down the Friday evening and have Sunday to get home.
The plan is to meet early morning at the Cartgate Picnic Area on the A303 west of Yeovil and to spend the day winding our way south to the coast, finishing at West Bay for fish & chips. (Not the cheapest but f***, theyre good)
The route is suitable for vehicles with at least All Terrain tyres and consists mainly of old droves and UCRs - some paint scratches are to be expected, it would also be advisable for roofracks to be removed.
(Mad Hat Man reckons even Gaylanders could do this )
If it is a fine day, you will be rewarded with some spectacular views - don't forget your camera!
If you are interested, then PM me and/or Dorset Vogue SE.
Numbers will be limited, so this is on a first come first served basis.

Count me in. Now, do I start bombarding you with pointless questions immediately, or shall I wait a bit for everyone else to start?

If you have a roofrack then fit it. It will protect your roof from the branches that will otherwise damage your roof.

Mine have been known to hum a bit, but I think talking is probably beyond them.
