Morning all,

I was just wondering how many people on the forum who regularly run trips and go laning use memory map?

if we could get a list of names together and areas where you have some up-to-date saves routes maybe we could all start exchanging info.

i dont think it would be a good idea to post saved routes up as it is a public forum, but maybe a PM and exchange of email addy's is the way to do it.

this would work particularly well if you enjoy travelling around the country laning and such. (ie. me, who wants to lane north wales early next year!)

what you all think?

Nice idea. I've drivved these lanes - loads more to do.

Jesus Widget, you been busy :) wouldnt mind some of your Mid - North Wales route for a short expo im doing next year. would you like a 2day route incorporating Strata Florida?

G

yer you can :) if you click route on the top bar you can plot waypoints which are joined together. this is your "route".

what were after is good routes incorporating as many lanes as possible with minimal tarmac that are nice and long and interesting.

If i can get a lot of people together we can swap routes about from all over the country. areas im particularly interested in are north wales and scotland.

know a few who carry laptops around using is it GPS mouse, now i might go into all this any websites which can explain things etc

Get a pocket pc with a built in satnav or you can buy a bluetooth gps dongle and a bluetooth usb dongle for the PC.
